Coopers Mill
Beautiful historical place. Peaceful and can picnic here but needs a boat to cross over.

Stopped off at the Tevern on the way from Kalbari. Had a delicious steak dinner (Good enough to turn Ghandi meat). The propriety Ian made sure that we had anything we needed. To the extent that he gave us some firewood for our next destination (which we used to cook our dinner). Would recommend to anyone.

Interesting historic location. Only accessible by boat. Has BBQ’s and playground. Easy access to the Murray River or Peel Inlet. Moorings on public holidays a premium.

On our arrival after a 9 hour drive we were greeted with a friendly smile and shown to our quaint, cosy and immaculate room. After refreshing ourselves we joined the generously accommodating owners in the toasty bar to be advised that they had already reserved us a table for dinner. We ordered our meals and had a drink whilst the kids played Twister. When our meals arrived they were massive in size and delicious to boot! Overall a fantastic experience. Will be back again on our way North. Thanks guys!

Great spot to stay if you are heading north or south. The owners welcome you with a smile, into their charming hotel regardless of the hour. They had four of the best chicken parmies ready for us as soon as we arrived! See you next time!

Best meal in AUS so far! This tavern was recommended by a local cafe owner and I'm so glad we visited for dinner. The owner and chef both went out of their way to chat with us and we had a great time and great food. If we weren't leaving tomorrow we would be back for sure. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal and great conversion!

Had to see the mill from a distance because it wasn't accessible by walking. It is separated by a river so you have to take a boat or kayak to get there.

Owner of this bar accused me of stealing from the tip jar after we had been playing pool for over an hour & needed a $2 coin. I exchanged 2x $1 coins for a $2 coin for pool table in tip jar, as bar staff was busy setting up tables for the evening. When I explained what actually happened she did not care and dismissed my explanation as a lie and told me “yeah right love whatever you say”. Have not been so insulted and experienced such rudeness. Bar staff warm, welcoming & engaging. The owner however was rude, accusing & aloof. Would’ve stayed for dinner, but would never return if it was the last place serving food in Northampton/Geraldton.

Really friendly, warm and accommodating people own this hotel, and we felt very welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable, and our dinner was tasty and generous. The chicken parmie was enormous! We thoroughly recommend this unassuming looking tavern - you should give it a go too.
